Unlocking the Art of Scent Layering: A Comprehensive Guide

In the world of fragrances, there’s a subtle art form that can elevate your olfactory experience to new heights: scent layering. Much like a symphony where different instruments come together to create a harmonious sound, scent layering involves combining various perfumes and scented products to craft a unique and personal fragrance profile. Whether you’re a fragrance aficionado or a novice exploring new ways to express yourself, this guide will help you master the art of scent layering.

What is Scent Layering?

Scent layering, also known as fragrance combining, is the practice of using multiple scented products simultaneously to create a unique and complex scent. This can involve combining perfumes, body lotions, shower gels, and even hair products to build a multi-dimensional fragrance that evolves throughout the day.

Some of my favourite combination is as follows.

Amazing combinations that I use for layering

Ariana Grande Cloud (Perfume) + Victoria’s Secret Bare Vanilla body lotion+ Victoria Secrets Midnight bloom Body mist. This is an excellent combination that will make you smell heavenly.

Lush Body wash in Sticky Date + Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 71. Such a beautiful combo to smell like a dessert.

Commodity Milk expressive scent + Super milk conditioning hair primer (which I use as hair perfume and this product also helps in setting my frizzy hair in place). If you want to smell like Milk.

That’s all for now, let me know if you want more combos. I love experimenting with the perfumes.
